No matter how hard you try, you'll never fit in. So pave your own path. Step off the sidewalk, maybe try the grass. Instead of walking, frolic or dance. Instead of talking, start singing. Only you can change who you are and what you will become. Don't let the chains of others change who you really are.

Fables: Legends in Exile
For my History of Comics class I had to choose a comic to present to the class. I chose, along with the two others in my group, Fables: Legends in Exile by DC's Vertigo comics. It actually has a really cool story line and involves characters that mostof us know from childhood stories.
The main characters in the first volume include:
she is now divorced from prince charming and working as King Coles, mayor of Fabletown, assistant.
he plays the 'good' detective known as Bigby in the comic. who knew prince charming was a player? Well in this tale he is a greedy sex fiend, I think I actually like this version of him better than the disney one, since he finally has some personality. So, apparently Snow was his first wife and then he moved onto Cinderella, and now he is just hooking up with any woman that has money.
The story takesplace inNew York City in the secret world of Fables. All the characters of Fairyland have been chased out of their homes and had been forced to live amongst the humans in secret. In thefirst volume Snow and Bigby work together to solve the murder of Rose Red. Bigbys prime suspects are Snow, Prince Charming, Jack, and Bluebeard. Snow is Rose's sister, she is suspect because she caught Rose and her husbandat that time, prince charming, in bed together. Prince Charming is suspect because he slept with Rose. Jack is Rose's current
boyfriend and Bluebeard had a marriage contract with Rose. So what happens? Who killed Rose Red? I can't tell you but you should read it cause it is really awesome and the art work is beautiful.

To-to-ro Love
The neighbor you've always wanted, the bento you loved to eat
the cappuccino you couldn't drink (cause it's too darn cute)
and of course the life size costume you'd never wear
Totoro is what makes me happy : )
Smile
I'm in need of a pick me up. I've started my new job this past week after a year of not working and I have only been single for 3 almost 4 months now but I keep finding ways to beat myself up. I end of yelling at myself-wtf, Theresa? what is up with this negative thought pattern? It needs to go right now---Every time I'm in one of those wtf moods I'm going to post things that make me smile!
To cure the gross mood I'm in right now is Bowie and Bowie look a like cat, LOL. Actually just the thought of Bowie will make me smile at any moment but the cat really does look like him--now PICTURE the cat wearing tights and singing 'dance magic dance' in Labyrinth,
kinda creepy, right?

First Mission
Super awesome fun time with this item that isn't a book but instead a manifestation of my imagination!
Here is George playing hide and seek
For my first task I chose the the
secret agent mission and disguised This Is Not A Book. Inside this item that is not a book I found a page that had a drawing of glasses and a m
ustache and turned This Is Not A Book into my accomplice, you may call him George.
So far George and I have only travelled to a couple places together and here are some pictures of what we did...
Here is George playing hide and seek
with Melissa face, Melissa won!
We had lots of fun with Natalie and her coffee machine
Here he is on a date with the Cheesecake Factory's menu, oo la la la la, (don't tell Natalies coffee machine she might get jealous)
